Discuss a CRM improvement, then review the change

Orbit brings code requests into chat, connects to your private GitHub repository and gives you a clearer place to review changes before opening a draft PR.

Orbit helps you work inside your Seedly CRM: ask about permitted records, prepare actions for approval and give your team a support assistant. In 1.7, administrators can also discuss a CRM improvement and move from the conversation into a code review. The screenshots below show the real Orbit interface with fictional example data.

  • Draft a code request from the conversation and review it without losing your message.
  • Review selected changes to CRM screens, behavior and shared code before creating a draft pull request.
  • Use a cleaner composer, mobile history, inline rename and message-copy controls.
  • Connect your own GitHub repository and coding provider. No account or subscription is included.

Keep the request and review together

Describe what should change and what should stay the same. Orbit can turn that discussion into a draft request. Open it from the conversation, choose the existing source files, and prepare a proposal.

The review takes over the conversation area so there is room to inspect the proposed changes. Back to chat returns to your draft and reading position.

Go beyond appearance changes

Code requests can cover CRM screens, application behavior and shared code, with accompanying tests. You choose the source scope and review the complete proposal. Sensitive areas such as authentication, billing and deployment configuration still need a separate development process.

Creating a draft PR requires explicit approval. Run your project tests and use your usual review, merge and deployment process before making the change live.

Inspect the proposed change before creating a draft pull request. Fictional repository and example code; no live provider request is shown.

A calmer conversation on desktop and phone

The message box grows as you type, provider selection stays with the conversation, and secondary controls take up less space. Copy a message or rename a conversation in place.

History opens as a drawer on smaller screens. Reading an earlier reply keeps your place when new content arrives, and Back to latest returns you to the newest message.

The same conversation fits on a phone. Example data.

Use your own connections

Browser-based GitHub sign-in is available when your installer has configured a GitHub App. Choose the private repository Orbit may access. The download does not contain a preconnected GitHub account, repository or credential.

A trusted self-hosted CRM can use your own local Codex login for administrator code help through an explicit user and account binding. CRM chat, agents and voice keep their configured provider requirements. A personal ChatGPT web connection is a separate registered-client setup.

Ordinary users keep the configured support experience. They do not receive administrator code controls.

Try it in your own workspace.

  1. Download Orbit 1.7.0 from your portal library and follow the upgrade guide in a backed-up test installation.
  2. As an administrator, configure your own GitHub connection and coding provider.
  3. Describe a small CRM improvement, choose its source files and inspect the proposal.
  4. Approve a draft PR only after reviewing the changes; test it before merging and deploying.
